Literary Musical Contest
The annual Literary Musical Competition showcases the wide range of talents that our Filipino & Filipino American students possess. With a variety of ways to participate, including an essay contest, dramatic interpretation in English or Philippine language, vocal solo in Philippine language, and playing the piano or violin, our Kindergarten to 12th grade students truly do shine! Celebration of Excellence in Education
The Filipino American Educators of Washington will honor the members of the graduating class of 2011 (high schools-public and private in the Greater Seattle Area) and their families. A simple reception follows the program. READ MORE

Film Festival
Watch and learn Filipino Martial Arts, and join Myrlino Hufana in his journey with the highly anticipated documentary film “Voices of the Masters: Warrior Arts of the Philippines”. After a series of tourism footage about the Philippines, showcasing the rich natural resources of the country, the critically-acclaimed movie "Jose Rizal", starring Cesar Montano will be shown. Health Fair
The Filipino-American Physicians of Washington (FAPWA), headed by Dr. Nick and Cindy Panlasigui, and the Filipino Nurses and Health Care Professionals will hold their popular health fair, offering free consultations and health screenings. READ MORE

Mass & Fellowship Brunch
Chaired by Deacon Fred Cordova, this will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church. Honored guests include the Pagdiriwang 2011 Hermano and Hermana Mayor Jorge and Marfelita Felix. READ MORE

Palaro
Roland Santos, who has coordinated this Pagdiriwang mainstay for the past 25 years, will teach and invite participants in traditional Filipino fiesta games. Activities for this year include a piñata-like game, and a competition to climb a slippery bamboo pole. Children especially are encouraged to participate, but all ages are most welcome! READ MORE

Workshops
Confused what a Malong is? All your questions will be answered in the "How to wear a Malong and Duwa-naig" workshop. Or you may opt to test your skills as you learn how to dance the "Tinikling" (Bamboo Poles Dance). Facilitated by the Filipinias Performing Arts of WA State (FPAWS). READ MORE

Children’s Indoor Activities

Booths
Offering Philippine and Filipino-American books and educational materials, garments and accessories, artifacts, and general information. Food booths serve deliciously famous Filipino dishes. Chaired by Dorothy Cordova of FAHNS. READ MORE
