For nearly four decades, this festival has become a testament to the enduring spirit and rich culture of Filipinos in the Pacific Northwest.  Year after year, Pagdiriwang has beautifully showcased our heritage - from the vibrant colors of our dances to the exquisite flavors of our cuisine and the intricate artistry of our crafts.  It's a time when we come together to share our traditions with each other and with the wider Seattle community.

 

Personally, I have so many cherished memories tied to Pagdiriwang. From the excitement of watching cultural performances to the warmth of connecting with old friends and making new ones, this festival has always been a highlight each year.  It's a powerful reminder of the strength and beauty of our collective identity.

 

On behalf of the Filipino Community of Seattle, I extend my deepest congratulations to the dedicated organizers, volunteers, performers, sponsors, and everyone who has contributed their time and energy to make Pagdiriwang a resounding success for the past 39 years.  Your passion and commitment have been instrumental in keeping this tradition alive and thriving.
