2:30 – 3:00 PM

Stop in for a dialogue on Filipino and Filipino American boxing history in the early twentieth century to learn more about how Francisco “Pancho Villa” Guilledo’s historic performances ignited the Great Pinoy Boxing Era, emboldened a people facing the violence of U.S. imperialism, and offered possibilities for Filipinos to craft alternative visions for themselves.
