Showcases the works of Rizal and other Filipino heroes; novels, books about and poetry by heroes and contemporary martyrs; pamphlets and materials from organizations that follow the essence of activism, exemplifying Rizal’s legacy of courage in fighting for a nation’s sovereignty. Readings, panel discussions, advocacy to local and Philippine issues, and storytelling are programmed for the two-day Festival. Highlighting the presentation is the re-introduction of Rizal Park’s Time Capsule, of which the original was stolen after the Rizal statue was vandalized two years ago.
