The Barriotix
A Guitar-Singing Ensemble

ARTICLE Barriotix (2).jpg

If you are an immigrant to the US, it does not take much to think about the days of being out in the province: either as a visitor, or someone who is homegrown to its culture and traditions. Of course, when we speak of culture, Filipinos most likely will gravitate to the music and songs of their lives. The Barriotix brings back songs from the past that remind us of our times in the barrio…the kundiman, or syrupy love songs that one cannot easily forget. Those sung ‘under the starry, moonlit night’, as we always say. Allow Abe and Ricky Legaspi, Danny and Jeah Lambino and Roger Rigor be musical hosts in the array of songs that we can enjoy together.
