The Barriotiques

Ever felt you wanted to visit back home; reminisce about the days of simple life and slow-moving clock... the life in the Barrio... songs, great home-cooked food, summer singing by the sari-sari store, at the bright, moonlit evening… That's the idea behind this group, the Barriotiques... simply, a group of guys who want to sing home, mostly heard in the provinces only.

'Here's hoping you can ride along with us as we bring you the songs and sentimentality of our people back home.

MEMBERS

ABE LEGASPI  (Guitar) - currently works at the Metro Lines in Maintenance; our repository for archived songs of the past…

LITO CASTRO - A pro in the acoustic guitar; a self-learner in guitar playing---you name it, and he can play it. Currently a regular player at a senior center located in Edmonds.

DANNY LAMBINO - One of the names from the past in the community of Seattle. He is now fully retired but continues to be the best in dabbling with his collection of electric vintage guitars.

JEAH LAMBINO - wife of Danny; the only female singer in the group. She is now currently working at UW Health...when back in the Philippines, she was the lead singer of a country band... Needless to say, she was much younger then but could sing the oldies-but-goodies…

ROGER RIGOR - The Foundation for Philippine Progress Vice-Chair of the Board has been busy so far since his retirement, and will actually Ride for the Philippines to raise the needed funds in anticipation of any future needs of the Philippines and the people.
