Veronica was born with an innate talent for music and is now a 10-year-old renowned musical artist. She has been singing and performing in her school talent shows, festivals, and the theatre.  At age 1-1/2, her grandmother taught her a lot of Filipino songs and learned so fast singing “Bahay Kubo,” “Paru-Parong Bukid,” “May Isang Pipit na Iiyak,” and many more. Her first public appearance was at age 4 when she was invited to sing “Let It Go,” followed by singing in acapella, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Born in Seattle, Washington, Veronica is a scholar and a constant academic awardee. She also auditioned for her school’s stage plays, The Little Mermaid and Jack and the Beanstalk, and was chosen to have roles in both stage plays.

Veronica will start middle school this Fall with plans to continue performing in theater arts that involve singing and acting at the same time. Veronica currently splits her time between performing for the Matilda musical stage play and attending grade school. She recently performed as well in the musical stage play, Frozen at the University Heights Theater. She is an active member of her school band, performing Christmas and spring concerts, Musical Children’s choir, and as a child cantor during Simbang Gabi with her songs such as “Tanging Yaman” at her school’s home parish.

Veronica was invited to sing, for the first time, when she was 5 years old, at the gala opening of the art, artifacts, and photography exhibits at the annual Pagdiriwang Philippine Festival at the Seattle Center. She considers it a great honor to sing Filipino songs that connects her to her Philippine cultural heritage and strong values.
